The Pine Belt ARC operated the W0W Special Event Station as part of the University of Southern Mississippi's Powwow to celebrate American Indian Heritage. Project Coordinator N5CW reports that W0W made 2690 contacts by operators on the air from their homes working all states and 76 countries. On the last day of the event W0W was setup on campus with seven PBARC members operating and several visitors stopping by the station for questions about Ham Radio. (photo provided by N5CW)

W5UE coordinated Mississippi's fall ARRL W1AW/5 VOTA activity. Here Randy operates CW during the event. In all 13 Mississippi operators stepped up to support the event by operating CW/SSB/Digital from their home stations signing W1AW/5. A total of 690 CW, 970 SSB and 1777 Digital QSOs were made for a total of 3,437 from 160M to 70CM (Photo by W5UE's XYL Kathy)
Five hundred plus Hams descended on the Trademart in Jackson for the long awaited Capital City Hamfest. After last year's Hamfest had to be cancelled due to Covid, Hams were "Hamfest hungry."
